I downloaded and played the new Metallica album, Death Magnetic, on Guitar Hero 3, and I gotta say, the album’s fantastic! I’m a Metallica fan again!

I decided to make a few videos of some of the songs in the album before I get stuck on Rock Band 2 when that comes out (I like both Guitar Hero and Rock Band, so don’t ask me which one I like better).

This is one of my favorite songs in the album. It took me hours to get this, but I finally got the full combo. The reason I tossed the guitar at the end was because this was the single hardest song I’ve fc’ed to date, and I completely lost my freckin’ mind.

The video editing program I use for this video is Pinnacle Studio 12 Plus. You can find it online, at Best Buy, or anywhere else that might have it.

GH3 Guitar Hero 3: The Way it Ends 100% Expert FC

Finally got it. This very well could be my best gh achievement to date. I played this song for about and hour and a half straight before the fc. Not sure how my arm took it. I just wanna say thanks to sigster87 for talking me into continuosly trying tonight. Thanks man it definitely paid off.

Guitar Hero Aerosmith: Train Kept A Rollin’ (Expert) - 446,250 5* 99%

For my next Guitar Hero video, I decided to play another one of the harder songs in Guitar Hero Aerosmith, the last song of the career mode, Train Kept A Rollin’.

This was my best run on this song to date, but I could still improve. If I hadn’t choked after the last Star Power phrase, I could have entered the following chord section with a x8 and broken 450k.

Oh well. I’m still happy with this run.

Guitar Hero III - One - Expert 91% - 4 Stars 326k

This is my best run on this song to date. It’s a 4.4 star, which is pretty good for me. 5 Star shouldn’t be too far away. Oh, and that part with all the blues and a couple oranges is stupid… talk about an awkward rhythm

Guitar Hero III-Through the Fire and the Flames(Dragonforce)

Proof that I am not, in fact, a god at this game. Not that I ever was, but hey, I’m not perfect. However, it was the best runthrough to date, and for the speculators, I did use a rubber band on the green fret for the intro. I refuse to waste time learning to tap it just for a good score. Filmed by my best friend, but he forgot to zoom in pre-video, but it looked really good quality-wise!

Guitar Hero Franchise review: Part 3

Guitar Hero III: Mobile, Guitar Hero Caribiner, Guitar Hero: On Tour (Nintendo DS), Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (Xbox 360).

It’s weird how this one worked out because this is the shortest full review video yet it contians the most reviews. Hell, at least I managed to keep it under 10 minutes.

There’s a couple other things I’d like to mention. First of all, this is probably my most technical video to date (for reasons you’ll discover by watching) and I also experimented with improv. a bit as well.

Hopfully Part 4 shouldn’t take as long as this one. I mean, I’m not one to make excuses, but all I can say is working Black Friday was a BITCH!!!
