What should I be looking for when selling my Wii?

Because I need money for my India trip next year, and there are people who are more desperate for owning the Wii than I am. Here is my list;

I live in Britain, and the money I earn from this goes directly towards my fund to travel to Inida next year with my school to benefit the poor.
My parents are fine with me selling my Wii, they are truly for it.

A word of advice, you might not be able to sell all of that as a single package, you'll probably have to split it up. Depending on the condition, I'd say you should ask for somewhere between $35 and $40 for each game, and $10-$15 for each Wii Remote, Nunchuck, and Classic Controller. I'd sell the Guitar Controller for about $20-$25. If you give the Wii Sports and Wii Play game away with the Wii console, you could probably get more offers. Sorry, I don't know the monetary conversions. I'd buy Guitar Hero III from you, but past experiences online from buying things hasn't turned out to well for me, so sorry about that. Hope it helps, I'd say that everything combined is worth around $700-$800, depending on its condition and other variables.

Through the Fire and Flames?

I'm playing Guitar Hero III on playstation 2 and I had a song question. I bought all the bonus songs but I can't find the song Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce. It's not even on the buy song list. How do I get it? It saddens me that I can't find it because it's my favorite song to play I'd appreciate anyone's help here <3

Wii games for christmas?

I'm making my Christmas list, and well, Me likey video games

I can have a max of 3 games, and I already have Zelda, Red Steel, Excite Truck Wario Ware, and Rayman

My friend has Metroid, so I can play that whenever I want, I didn't like Rayman.

I defenently want Super Mario Galaxy, although I'm at a rough turn whether to ask for Guitar Hero III, because I already play a real guitar :-/

Guitar hero is awesome. I don't personally play the guitar, but i have some friends that do and they think that guitar hero is awesome. Besides how could any guitar player pass up the opportunity to play "though the fire and the flames" by dragonforce!

oh and Jay Dude, Super Smash Brothers Brawl isn't coming out until Feb 10th.

What other xbox 360 games should i get for christmas?

I would say first of all Call of Duty 4 is a must, then possibly something like The Darkness if you want another FPS game, Oblivion if you like just roving around, and Saint's Row if you like games like the GTA series. Also, you might wanna consider the newest Burnout game if you like racing with friends. Those are always a blast just ramming each other into walls and other cars and such.

Wii: Guitar Heroes vs. Rock Bands?

I already have Wii’s Guitar Hero III and Aerosmith. I saw the original Rock Band, disc for 39.99 and the drum set for another 49.99. I know for Wii I can use the same guitar for both games. I was thinking about getting Rock Band, just game and drums, but I know Rock Band 2 comes out in January. For the same price as RB2 I could get GH-World Tour this month. I could care less about the additional guitar and microphone. I was also wondering if the GH drums will be better than RB1 will RB2’s drums be the best ones yet? Will the drum sets all be compatible with each other? What do you guys think would be the better choice:

1.) Get the original Rock Band game and drums
2.) Get Rock Band 2 game and drums
3.) Get Guitar Hero- World Tour game and drums
4.) Get GH-WT or RB2 drums and get GH-WT, RB1, RB2 games

I don’t like dropping $50 on a game so I don’t want to just fling $50 here, $50 there, and another $50 for this, that, and the other if none of them are really worth $50.

Also, I have noticed that RB has come out with “Track Packs”, how do they work? I wasn’t very impressed with the songs GH- Aerosmith had, and I quickly regretted buying the game before renting it, and some of the Legends of Rock songs I think are stupid because they came out within the last 10 years. I think you have to be pretty old or pretty dead to be a legend, so I wasn’t completely thrilled with some of those songs. 3 songs I just didn’t like because they were just screaming noise. Overall I like Legends of Rock a lot. Because I liked Legends of Rock so well I thought Aerosmith would be just as good if not better, but I don’t think that the Aerosmith one is worth $25 at a pawn shop, maybe for $20, but it was definitely not worth the $50 I sunk into it.

Those of you who have played both, which has the best music overall - Guitar Hero or Rock Band? Is RB1 game play and music choice good enough that it would be worth getting at some point? A fair few of the songs on the RB1 play list that I saw on Wiki I am not familiar with. I might know them when I hear them but I rarely remember a song title and even more rare to I remember the artist. A couple of the songs on RB1 are on GH-LoR, are they more fun to play on RB1 or what?

Yeah, I just realized RB2 came out already. I Googled "Rock Band 2" and one of the sites said that it comes out in Jan. of 2009 so I don't know what that was all about.

you cant use the same guitar for both games!!!

track packs are just discs with like 20 or so songs, various artists, they work the same as rockband…pop the disc in and play the songs, switch the disc to go back to regular rockband (a little inconvieniant)…GHWT will have downloadable content!
