I downloaded and played the new Metallica album, Death Magnetic, on Guitar Hero 3, and I gotta say, the album’s fantastic! I’m a Metallica fan again!

I decided to make a few videos of some of the songs in the album before I get stuck on Rock Band 2 when that comes out (I like both Guitar Hero and Rock Band, so don’t ask me which one I like better).

This is one of my favorite songs in the album. It took me hours to get this, but I finally got the full combo. The reason I tossed the guitar at the end was because this was the single hardest song I’ve fc’ed to date, and I completely lost my freckin’ mind.

The video editing program I use for this video is Pinnacle Studio 12 Plus. You can find it online, at Best Buy, or anywhere else that might have it.

Start our by saying - THIS IS GUITARHEROPHENOM’s VIDEO. HE RECORDED IT. I thought I should take the video and put it up and my profile as well, because I think it’s one of the greatest accomplishments in Guitar Hero history.

This is the first Dragonforce Co-op FC, and it is especially amazing because only 3 people have FCed this in single player (Me, Phenom, Chris). When songs at the top of every list have been FCed even more times (One, TTFAF). I personally thought this should be on the front page of Scorehero because of the Note Streak/Dragonforce epicness/Best Co-op FC ever. But I hear that scorehero doesn’t allow co-op FCs on their front page, so whatevez. It’s all good.

I think me and Danny are now forming “Phenomlikecrazy” and are going to start trying to Co-op FC CRAZY STUFF. I think Operation Ground and Pound maybe next, If not Slash or Tom Morello or something. So stay tuned for that.

It’s too bad Danny didn’t get the audio on the other side from the gamebridge. This was played live on stream, and this was around THE FOURTH TIME EVER. Yes, we only actually tried this around 4 TIMES. I was going apeshit on the other side when we FCed, and I think the stream was having a heart attack, truly one for the books. My heart was literally beating so fast after Phenom hit 2D. Then Jack calls me up and were like HOLY WTF JUST HAPPENED. Good times baby.

So yes in general, my past couple days have been pretty good. I FC’ed Heroes of our time on single player one day, Heroes of Our time on Co-op the next day, and yesterday I FCED SLASH BATTLE AS WELL!!! Second place by like 800 or something under ShonSuperStar. I can easily Re-FC though for youtube. Today I might get a gamebridge or something.

ALSO - Phenom was rhythm because:
1. I FCed the song like a day ago lulz.
2. I THOUGHT PERSONALLY Rhythm was harder.
3. Because Phenom had confidence in me, he took rhythm, and look at what happened. So you guys, maybe taking rhythm or lead doesn’t decide who is better. Example if I took lead on like One I’D SUCK LOL. It’s just who’s more consistent at certain parts, not who’s better, (CAUSE LULZ PHENOM IS BETTER THAN JESUS)

I hope you enjoy this, this really took a lot of mental strength out of me.

Guitar Hero Aerosmith: Train Kept A Rollin’ (Expert) - 446,250 5* 99%

For my next Guitar Hero video, I decided to play another one of the harder songs in Guitar Hero Aerosmith, the last song of the career mode, Train Kept A Rollin’.

This was my best run on this song to date, but I could still improve. If I hadn’t choked after the last Star Power phrase, I could have entered the following chord section with a x8 and broken 450k.

Oh well. I’m still happy with this run.

Guitar Hero 3/World Tour glitch PS3

A weird glitch I found a while back where if you put the WT disc in while playing a DLC song, in this case Soothsayer - Buckethead, the game continues to play (because the PS3 just uses the HDD data to play the game) but then when you goto the setlist songs the game restarts and then plays random things in the background while it says “Checking HDD… ect.ect.” and after a while you should hear a World Tour song in the background, so far I’ve only heard Everlong - Foo Fighters but please post video responses if you find more. This is my first video so bare with me a bit please!
There is no tricks involved in this it’s just a weird glitch I found with my friend so we decided to record it, try it for yourself if you like I did the glitch on the 60gb PS3 I don’t know if it works on 40’s because my friend tried on his and it didn’t work. You may need to turn your volume up because my friend holding the camera has his hand over the mic also appologies in advanced for the poor quality, 3.2mp camera phone you see.

And before you say, because I know you will, “You said the song should start and it started as soon as you said it and ended when you said it would.” Well reason is because I’ve done the glitch a few times and so I remembered the part of the song it ended and which sound it came after just letting you know before you all start posting comments like “fake” or “con artist” or whatever.
